Would you recommend this as a "first" film camera for someone? (I've had plenty over the years, but I mean in the abstract).

Thank you for the quick look. Honestly, I’m not very impressed by the lens sharpness and overall image quality. The lens focus sound is also a bit painful.

So its fully manual. Very cool. Only if you want to focus yourself you dont have the option. Love how it has all those settings and is still so organized. Really want one if the AF is very fast and first tests of the lens are out.

What are your thoughts on it vs the original one?

To my eye, the H35N does better in bright lighting, but the H35 has a more appealing look in the lower light situations.

Thank you for this! For the colour lens, am I right in thinking for a plain ie ‘normal’ no colour photo, you have to lift the attachment all the way to the top?! It seems weird the regular photo option would be the last one and you have to constantly take photos with the attachment raised to the top?

I still remember buying mine new in the 80ies and it still works except for the orange light that indicates the flash has warmed up but the flash still works fine. They have a glass lense very hard to find

Usually when opening a film camera you can see the fabric screen in front of the chamber and possibly see light through it but this chamber is solid plastic. How does light get through the lens to the film?

Do you need to keep advancing that gear after each time you take a shot?

Same-does not work for me as well. I have used the large retrivers with no issues

thanks for the video. it helped me a lot to succesfully load a roll of film into it. i ruined the first roll by completely rolling it into the film-cartridge. i'll see if the results are worth the purchase but so far i don't get the rather high recensions on certain monopoly-esque online shops. i probally spend a bit more for the next camera. anyway. thanks again

Hi wanna know if my film load properly ? At first the rewind knob turn when it advance but it no longer turn now, but the no of film left shown did increase at the same time
